Account Deletion Steps
- Log in to your Linkly account and navigate to the [Profile Center] page
- Go to "Edit Profile" and select "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision through two-factor verification and submit the deletion request (processing takes 72 hours)
Data Processing Statement
Data to be Deleted
- Location records and history
- Personal profile information
- Device ID and registration data
- User preferences and settings
- Contact lists and connections
- In-app messages and notifications
Data Retention (Legal Requirements)
- Customer service chat records (30 days for dispute resolution)
- Transaction and billing records (3 years for tax compliance)
- Security logs (90 days for fraud prevention)
- Legal compliance data as required by applicable laws
⚠️ Data Retention Period
Customer service chat records will be retained for 30 days for dispute resolution purposes, then automatically deleted.
All other personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days after the account deletion request is processed.
Legal compliance data will only be retained for the time required by applicable laws and regulations.
Important Notice
- Account deletion is irreversible and cannot be undone
- You will lose access to all app features and data
- Family connections and shared location data will be permanently deleted
- Processing typically takes 72 hours to complete
- You will receive email confirmation once deletion is complete
